June- September 2008

 

June 30th Town Station at 9.30 am for a walk from Ashurst to Eridge via   Jessups Farm, Ham Farm, Motts Mill, Rocks Farm & Little Wigsell.  Distance 6 miles; flat. Rail cards please

 

July 7th Leisure centre at 9.30 a.m. for circular walk from Holtye via Beeches Farm, Roughfield Wood, North Clays, Pollard Wood, Acre Wood, Pond Bar & Little Cansiron Farm. Distance 5 miles; hilly in parts. Cars please.

 

July 14th  Leisure centre at 9.30 a.m. for circular walk from IdeHill (Yorks Hill) via Seven Wents, Willow Road, Manor Farm, Brook Place, Cordons Farm & Ide Hill. Distance 5 miles; mainly flat. Cars Please.

 

July 21st Town Station at 9.30am for a circular walk from Buxted via Buxted Park, Hempstead & Culver Wood. Distance 5 miles; Flat.

 

July 28th Leisure centre at 9.30 a.m. for circular walk from Ide Hill ( Woodman PH) via Whitley Forest. Witley Mill, Dibden Green Lane, Back Lane & Willow Wood. Distance 4 miles; Hilly in parts. Cars please

 

August 4th Leisure centre at 9.00 a.m. for all day walk from Goudhurst to Brenchley & return via Trottenden Farm, Park Farm, Horsmondon Church, Sprivers, Furnace Pond & Share Farm. Distance 10  miles; flat; Cars please.

 

August 11th Leisure centre at 9.30 a.m. for circular walk from Fordcombe via Chaffords Farm, River Medway.  Hamsell Farm & Palmers Farm; Distance 4 miles hilly in parts. Cars please.

 

August 18th  Leisure centre at 9.15 a.m. for circular walk from Hartfield via Chartners Farm, Newton’s Hill, Wytham & river Medway. Distance 5 miles; flat. Cars please .

 

August 25th Bank Holiday.

 

Sept. 1st Leisure centre at 9.30 a.m. for circular walk from Hosey Common via French Street, French Street Farm, Castle Grove, Puddledock, Puddledock Lane, Chartwell & French Street. Distance 5 miles, hilly in parts; Cars please.

 

Sept. 8th & 15th Strollers holiday in Norway.

 

Sept.22nd  Leisure centre at 9.30 a.m. for circular walk from Kemsing via Otford Manor, Fernbrook  Farm, & Woodlands. Distance 4 miles; hilly in parts; cars please.

 

Sept. 29th  Leisure centre at 9.15 a.m. for circular walk from Penshurst via South Park, Smarts Hill & Nashes Farm. Distance 6 miles; hilly in parts. Cars please

 

 

 

N.B. 1 When walking along roads without a pavement or grass verges, PLEASE KEEP IN SINGLE FILE AND, IF SAFE, FACING THE DIRECTION OF TRAFFIC
